RANJHA: Police have reportedly arrested a person for planting a bomb at Pushpalal Chowk, a busy bazaar in Nepalgunj.

Police Inspector Narayan Dangi, In-charge of the Ward Police Office, Nepalgunj, confirmed the arrest of Pradip Oli alias Dayalu from near Pushpalal Chowk.

Oli is said to be the president of an organisation called ‘Hami Nepali Hamro Nepal’. Police had found leaflets near the spot where the bomb was planted.

A team from the Bhairab Prasad Battalion of the Nepal Army based in Ranjha defused the bomb after about seven hours.
