KAVRE: One person died while six others were critically injured when a mini-truck they were travelling on, en route to Banepa, fell off the road in Rabiopi of Banepa Municipality-2 today at 9:45 am.

The deceased has been identified as Lali Maya Tamang (40) of Mandan Deupur Municipality-4. Lali Maya died on way to the hospital, informed District Police Office, Kavre.

The mini-truck (Ba 4 Kha 3412) caught fire after it lost its balance and fell some 50 meters down the road.

The injured are undergoing treatment at Scheer Memorial Hospital, Banepa.

The fire truck had arrived an hour later after the accident at the scene, informed the police.
