DHANGADHI: A man died and another sustained critical injuries after a motorbike they were riding on met with an accident at Lalpur of Kailali along the East-West Highway on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as pillion rider Devi Mijar of Andaiyaki of Masuriya-1 of Kailali.

Police said that biker Ramesh Mijar, son of Devi, was seriously injured in the incident.

He is receiving treatment at the Seti Zonal Hospital in Dhangadhi.

Police said that the incident took place after one of the tyres of the two-wheeler (Se 2 Pa 817) suffered a puncture.
