URLABARI: A pillion rider died and the motorcyclist sustained injuries after the motorcycle they riding on crashed into a tree in an inner road section of Urlabari Municipality-1 in Morang district last night.

The deceased has been identified as Man Kumar Dhimal (24) and the injured as local resident Baljeet Subba (39).

The motorcycle (Ko 28 Pa 8392) in high speed ran out of control and crashed into a roadside tree killing Dhimal on the spot and injuring Subba, at Kanchhi intersection on Friday midnight.

Motorcyclist Subba was taken to the Mangalbare Hospital for treatment.

He is now detained at the Area police Office, Urlabari for necessary investigation, according to Inspector Chandra Bahadur Thapa.
