Pokhara airport will be completed on time, says Minister Lalbabu Pandit

Pokhara, June 16

Minister of Federal Affairs and General Administration Lalbabu Pandit today said that the Pokhara Regional International Airport would be completed within the stipulated deadline.

Pandit, during an inspection of the under-construction airport, said the government was serious about constructing the airport as it was a national pride project. He reiterated that all the government and  ministers were serious about completing construction of the airport within the stipulated deadline.

“Both the federal and provincial governments are serious about construction of the airport. Construction work is in full swing,” Pandit added. Pandit said that it was the dream of Pokhara locals to have an international standard airport for the past four decades would be fulfilled finally.

Minister Pandit said Nijgadh airport would be better than Tribhuvan International Airport.
