POKHARA: Kaski District Police Office arrested a woman with 15 cooking gas cylinders from Miyapatan in Pokhara -13 of Kaski district on Sunday evening.

The woman has been identified as Shakila Miya, the wife of Fajul Miya, Kaski Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team had arrested the woman while she was selling the gas at Rs 6,000 per cylinder.

According to police, she used to sell the gas that party had brought with a recommendation from the District Administration Office, Kaski in the name of the party.

Her husband is at large and police are searching after him, informed the DPO.
