Police recover henchmen's murder tape from Hoda, accomplices

BIRGUNJ/RAUTAHAT: Police in Bara district of Nepal said they recovered a videotape of the murder of two Indian nationals in December last year from Samshul Hoda, who was arrested on multiple criminal charges recently, and his accomplices.

Making them public at the Kalaiya-based Bara District Police Office today, police said the video captured with a mobile phone showed the cruel murder of Indian nationals Arun Ram and Dipak Ram in Bara district on December 16.

Besides Hoda, Brij Kishor Giri aka Giri Baba (26), Aashish Singh (24) and Umesh Kumar Kurmi (23) were made public amid a press confidence today.

The Ram duo were allegedly hired to carry out explosions in two railway stations in India. They, however, were put down on Hoda’s instruction after they failed to accomplish their duties as per the plan.

After feeling that they were dodging him and not executing the plots, Hoda had told his another henchman, Giri Baba, to call the Indian men to Nepal and kill them, police said in the press conference today.

Giri, Singh and Kurmi had executed the murder order.
