GULMI: The operation of the Paropakar Cooperative Hydro Power Project, which was halted two months ago, has not resumed yet.

The 50 KV transmitter at Paudiamarai area of Musikot Municipality-1, which broke down on July 13, has not been repaired.

Around 350 households in the ward have been forced to live in the dark for the past two months whereas severance of power supply has disrupted industrial output and turned electric gadgets including mobile phone into useless materials.

The lack of power supply has also created difficulties for students.

The Electricity Administrative Committee Chairman Dharmendra Kumar Malla assured of resumption of power supply after the electric engineers arrive by tomorrow to repair the transmitter.
