MAHOTTARI: An armed gang looted properties worth Rs one million from a house in Gaushala, Mahottari on Monday.

It is said that the robbers held house owner Manoj Sah at gunpoint and looted the property from his house last night.

The dacoits looted cash Rs 500,000, 100,000 Indian currencies, a mobile phone, two tola gold and other valuables at the gunpoint, victim Sah said.

Inspector of Area Police Office, Gaushala, Chandreshwor Yadav said that investigations into the case are going on.

Earlier on September 22, a gang of 20 armed persons had looted property worth Rs 2.5 million from the house of local Ganesh Mohan Sah in Gaushala Municipality-8.
