Prosperity necessary for implementing federalism: Chairman Yadav

INARUWA: Federal Socialist Forum Nepal's Chairman Upendra Yadav, on Sunday, underlined development and prosperity as necessary factors for implementing federalism.

Yadav made the remark while laying the foundation stone for construction of a road at Harinagara Rural Municipality-3 in Sunsari district.

Stating that the country had passed through a long period of conflict and struggle, Yadav stressed on implementing federal state structure by pacing up the development process.

He further added that it was time to make the citizens experience good governance by developing the sectors of education, health, drinking water, road infrastructure, electricity and media.

On a different note, Yadav pointed out that unemployment and poverty could be eradicated through the medium of cooperatives and called on the local governments to play a role for the same.
