BHADRAPUR: CPN-UML has expressed grief over the incident of police firing on the demonstration held in protest of death of Laxman Siwakoti of Arjundhara Municipality-11, Jhapa.

The UML has demanded investigation into the incident of the death of child Shiwakoti to bring the guilty to book. UML also demanded rendering justice to the family of Siwakoti.

UML has accused the government of being mute spectator when there was series of organised attacks, arsons and vandalism in Birtamod while condemning the violent activities.

Demanding action against those involved in assaulting UML leaders and cadres, the UML Jhapa has demanded the government to provide compensation to the family of the deceased, free of cost treatment to those injured in the course of demonstration and compensation of the properties vandalised.
