Province 3 Chief Minister Dormani Poudel today stressed the need focus on local production.

Inaugurating Manahari festival organised at Manahari Rural Municipality, Makawanpur, CM Poudel said the major goal of the fair and festival was to accord top priority to local production. The fair and festival help a lot to provide market to the local production, he added. He urged the local farmers to commercialise agriculture and multiply their income and production.

Poudel said modernisation of agriculture was crucial to materialise the dream of ‘prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’.“The limited resources available in the province ought to be utilised optimally to make the province prosperous,” he added.

Poudel said the province government had accomplished many things in its nine-month tenure. “We faced a few hardships due to new government structures in the beginning. But now the problems have been resolved and we shall move ahead with big success,” Poudel stated.
