Rasuwagadhi border point to resume by October 15

DHUNCHE: The Chinese side has made preparations to reopen the Rasuwagadhi border point by October 15.

The Rasuwagadhi Customs Office Chief Kedar Prasad Paneru informed that the Chinese side shared this information in a meeting held between the Chinese and local administration of Nepal.

The Rasuwagadhi-Kerung road section was blocked due to the April 25 Gorkha earthquake and subsequent landslides triggered by it in this rainy season.

Similarly, Paneru informed that the Nepali side has also completed all the preparations to resume the border point.

It is noted that about 300 million rupees revenue were collected through the border point in the fiscal year 2071/072 BS.
