MORANG: A man died and another woman was seriously injured in a road accident at Hattimuda of Morang district on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Latru Majhi (45), a rickshaw puller.

Likewise, Munti Devi Majhi (37) of Hattimuda-8 sustained critical injuries.

According to police, the incident occurred when a truck (Na 2 Kha 7244) collided with the rickshaw coming from the opposite direction.

The impounded truck and the driver are in police custody for further investigation.
