Dhangadi: Nepali Congress leader Krishna Sitaula on Saturday urged all and sundry to select parliamentary party leader by rising above factionalism and groupism.

Speaking at a press meet organised by Press Union Kailali in Dhangadi, Sitaula said the Nepali Congress was in need of complete overhaul and change.

“Since party needs to change policy, system, ideology and organisational structure, its party’s lawmakers have to be cautious in electing the PP leader”, Sitaula added.

Stating that NC had led every change in the past, Sitaula held that NC’s defeat had brought a big change in power balance in the country.

He emphasized the need to revitalise his party to make it strong. He urged party leaders to use discretion and wisdom while making decision.
