Sarita Giri quits Nepal Sadbhawana Party

KATHMANDU: Leader of the Nepal Sadbhawana Party Sarita Giri quit the party on Monday, saying that the Madhesi parties inflicted a severe blow to the self-respect of Madhesi people by taking part in the election held for new premiership under a constitution that they had already rejected.

Giri wrote a lengthy Facebook post saying she would continue her fight for Madhesi empowerment and protection of human rights and crusade against discrimination. She said she would work with intellectuals and organisations that shared her thoughts.
