DANG: Eight persons including a woman and a child died, and 24 were injured when a school bus and a microbus collided at Tripura Saunri Khola along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section of Dang.

Three of the deceased have been identified as 20-year-old Suman Thapa, one-and-half year old Hemant Bista and 36-year-old Sabnam Ansari. Two others are yet to be identified.

According to the Medical Superintendent Dr Bikash Devkota, 12 of the seriously injured passengers have referred to Nepalgunj for further treatment.

It is learned that the driver of the microbus, Thapa, lost his live on the spot.

DANG: Three persons died and 25 were injured when a school bus and a microbus collided at Tripura Saunri Khola along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road section of Dang on Wednesday.

The school bus (Ra 1 Cha 191) of Padmodaya Public Higher Secondary School travelling from Tulsipur to Ghorahi collided with the microbus (Ra 1 Ja 372) coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased are yet to be identified.

It is said that the microbus was travelling on a high speed and collided with the school bus.

The injured have been sent to the Rapti Sub-Regional Hospital, Ghorahi, for treatment.
