Cold wave forces Parsa schools to close for a week

PARSA: Schools in Parsa have closed down for a week from today due to excessive cold.

The Parsa Natural Disaster Management Committee meeting presided over by Chief District Officer, Keshav Raj Ghimire, on Friday took the decision to close down all the schools in the district for a week.

Due to the cold wave blowing across the district for the past six days and consequent mercury plunge, the children have started falling ill, CDO Ghimire said, "Thus the decision was taken."
