KATHMANDU: A man died after the scooter he was riding on was hit by a truck in Tilottama Municipality-5 of Rupandehi district on Wednesday night.

Police have yet to identify the deceased who appears to be in his mid-30s.

According to police, the incident occurred when the truck (Na 5 Kha 7077) hit the scooter (Lu 7 Pa 8777) in Coffee Compay Chowk at 7:30 pm yesterday, critically injuring him.

The injured was rushed to Manigram-based Crimson Hospital where he breathed his last during the course of treatment, informed police.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
