Nepali Congress should back out from secularism, federalism: Khadka

NEPALGANJ: Nepali Congress leader Khum Bahadur Khadka has opined that secularism and federalism would weaken Nepal.

Addressing the cadres gathering organised by Nepali Congress, Banke here on Monday, leader Khadka said, "I am still not in favour of secularism and federalism. The party should correct these decisions through general convention."

Stressing that the Nepali Congress should follow the path shown by BP Koirala, not others, Khadka said the party should now be made stronger, and should be party-oriented, not cadres or leaders-oriented.

Leader Khadka said, "The party is at the most difficult phase. Leaders are being stronger but party is becoming weak. Party always becomes weaker when Nepali Congress is in government. We should analyse it from now."
