Sister bodies commit to make CPN-UML Nepal's No.1 Party

KATHMANDU: The national gathering of CPN-UML's sister organisations concluded in Pokhara on Tuesday, committing to make the CPN-UML Nepal's number one party with a clear majority in the upcoming elections.

The gathering has issued a 20-point Pokhara Declaration.

Around 4,000 representatives of 20 sister bodies of the party had taken part in the three-day event that kicked off on Sunday, January 22.

The declaration includes the demand to withdraw the Constitution amendment proposal, announce the dates of elections in all three levels and enact the required laws as soon as possible in order to hold the elections by the third week of February.
