UDAYAPUR: Six of a family were arrested following a murder of a woman in Sijuwa Betauna jungle of Morang district on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Bhim Kumari Katuwal (34) of Shribani in Beltar Basaha Municipality-2, informed the Beltar Area Police Office.

According to police, the family members have stated that Bhim Kumari was called out via a phone call to the jungle by her brother-in-law, Suwas, four days ago and then killed.

Suwas then consumed poison and fell unconscious. He is being treated at a hospital, police added.

After regaining conscious, he has started claiming that he alone was involved in the murder, police said.

The deceased's parental family has accused the Katuwal family to be involved in the murder, police informed.

The APO has started the investigation into the case for further information.
