Suspicious items found at Birtamod polling centre, NC ward office
JHAPA: Two suspicious objects were found at the a polling centre and Nepali Congress Ward Office in Birtamod Municipality of Jhapa district on Monday.
Locals had informed police of an item found at the polling centre at Devi Secondary School and NC ward office in Birtamod Municipality at around 8:00 am today.
Suspecting the items as bombs, a team of NA personnel have been kept on standby to defuse if needed, police said.
