Taxi-hit kills Nepali worker in Malaysia

KATHMANDU: A Nepali migrant worker died after a taxi hit him while he was crossing a road in Malaysia today.

The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Man Bahadur Bohora of Banjh area in Kedarasyun Rural Municipality-5 of Bajhang district.

Bohora, who was on his way to his company, was hit by a taxi while crossing a road in Johor Bahru. Critically injured in the accident, Bohora was admitted to a local health institution where he breathed his last at around 7:00 am today, Ramesh Saud informed from Malaysia.

It has been learnt that Bohora had been working in the company for seven years.

Arrangements are being made to send the body of the deceased back to Nepal.
