KOHALPUR: The Bheri Zonal Police Office on Saturday paraded three persons in possession of two and a half kg opium in Banke district.

The suspects have been identified as Ayan Roka (29), Bhageshwor Roka (36) and Rupesh Pun (26) of Bhume Rural Municipality-3 in Rukum, currently living in Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City, Dang.

Acting on a tip-off, police had intercepted the motorcycle (Ra 2 Pa 9954)  they were riding on and seized the contraband at Sonari Rural Municipality-1 in the district, said Inspector Bishwaraj Singh at the Zonal Police Office.

Police are looking into the case.
