JUMLA: At least three persons, including a driver, were killed when a mini truck met with an accident at Kotilabhir of Badki-2 in the district on Thursday, police said.

The deceased have been identified as Tirtha Ram Tharu of Mainapokhar of Bardiya, Ranga Bahadur Shahi and Ganga Shahi of Kalai village of Mugu, informed police.

The accident took place when the mini truck (Na 6 Kha 9372), driven by Tharu, heading to Mugu from Nepalgunj met with the accident.

Similarly, helper of the vehicle, who was critically injured in the accident, has been rushed to the Jumla headquarters, Khalanga, for further treatment.

Police said his identity is yet to be ascertained.
