BARA: While vote counting for the third phase of the civic polls is under way  in Province no 2, a trilateral fight is shaping up at the two  sub-metropolitan cities in Bara.

As per the result of vote counting till Tuesday evening, CPN-UML’s mayoral candidate Krishna Paudel is leading  at Jitpur-Simara Sub-Metropolitan City. He is followed by CPN-Maoist Centre’s Rajan Paudel and NC’s Krishnabrata Singh. In Kalaiya Sub-metropolitan City, NC candidate Rajesh Ray Yadav is leading the  fray. UML’s Binod Sah and Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal’s Pramod Gupta are following Yadav.

Vote counting is being held amid tight security at the two sub-metropolises. Mediapersons have been barred from collecting news at the vote counting site.
