CHITWAN: Two men died on the spot after they were hit by a truck in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11 of Chitwan district on Monday night.

Police have yet to identify the deceased duo.

According to police, the incident occurred when the truck (Na 6 Kha 1848) laden with bricks en route from Birgunj to Kathmandu hit the duo pushing the handcart carrying water pump along the Bypass Road yesterday, according to District Police Office, Chitwan.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
