DHANGADI: Two persons have died and two others have sustained injuries when the motorcycles they were traveling on collided head-on in Kailali district.

Shivraj Bogati (25), a permanent resident of Tikapur in Kailali district died on the spot while Netra Rawal succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment in Kohalpur Medical College in Nepalgunj of Banke district, said Police.

Deepak Chaudhary, a resident of Kanchanpur who was seriously injured in the accident, is being treated in Nepalgunj while the other injured Asha Ram Chaudhary is being treated in Lal Ratna Hospital of Lamki Chuha in Kailali district, said Police.

The incident occurred when the motorcycle (Se 2 Pa 7981) and another motorcycle (Se 5 Pa 4803) collided in Lumki Chuha Municipality-2, Ganeshpur of Kailali district.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
