POKHARA: Kaski Police on Wednesday arrested two persons in possession of large stock of narcotic drugs from Tulsi Marga in Pokhara.

The arrestees have been identified as Uday Kumar Gupta (39) of Naya Bazaar, Pokhara and Manu Gurung (33) alias Gita of Byas Municipality, Tanahun.

According to Kaski Police Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rabindra Man Gurung, law enforcement officers recovered 404 sets of Diazepam, 391 tablets of Nurofen, 24 bottles of Phenergan and Phenesydl, along with Rs 242,337 from Gupta’s automobile during a security check.

Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
