West Regional Hospital to launch heart service

POKHARA: The Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara, which remains always busy with hundreds of patients, is soon going to begin heart services too.

According to the Medical Superintendent Dr Shree Krishna Shrestha, treatments including surgery of heart problems will be available after around five months.

The Lions International had donated Rs 10.7 million for the project, informed Dhruba Thapa, District Governor of Lions International.

Meanwhile, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry had also donated Rs1.5 million for launching the service.

The denizens of Pokhara and people around the place will be benefitted by the service.
