BIRATNAGAR: A mentally-challenged woman, who used to be seen begging in the neighbourhood, was found dead in Pathari-Shanischare of Morang on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Rama, believed to be in her 40s and a resident of Hasandaha-3, Morang, according to police.

As a deep cut injury was seen on her temple, police said, her body has been sent to the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, for autospy.

The local police office of Pathari is looking into the case.
