Well my friend, We do agree with your view point in the Question. Most of People with potential are engaged with with their profession and few clever and cunning (Who are neither loyal to Nation or people) get advantage to cash the situation. If average people react with his/her talent even through media these selfish will be discouraged or correct himself. SACNEPAL

yes its true that you need the connection to be succesful in your life.if you have talents but you dont know where to show it up your talent goes in vain. And yes you also need to know some reputed person so that you can get reference of them and go ahead, because i had seen many people who dont even have talents or skills are being sucessful and earning good income whereas talented are sitting inside their house useless and jobless.

if one thinks from the nepali scenario, than yes the average people reach the zenith of success only on the basis of the nepotism and favouritism..On the other hand, looking towards the western culture, people values the talent rather than the contact..this gap is the main reason for the success of westerners and failure of easterners..

we cannot deny the fact that connections/contacts does matter and play a vital role in today's world. Simultaneously genuine people are those who can think out of box and pave their way with out such connections and contacts. the proverb "where there is a will, there is a way" justifies it. life gives us opportunity in many ways but only few are able to make most of it. real talented are those people will those who identify this golden opportunity with the genuine touch and look.those who possess the claimed or attributed character, quality, or origin and are not counterfeit, they will make it out no matter what time and situation are. so its not the right connection but the genuine talents that counts the most.

Talented people can pave their ways to the better path themselves. If a person has a real eagerness to uplift oneself then of course many ways can be applied. There are so many successful people around our periphery who has made themselves an inspirational factor for others.so its not the connections that could dim the light of real treasure.

yes,in Nepal there are many hidden talents among us who are still behind the curtain due to the lack of opportunities.talented people are unable to grab the opportunities because of various geographical, economic or social barriers. people think that talented people do not need a place, they rise themselves. but let us not forget that even a flower has to be planted in order to blooms. definitely connection or a platform is needed for the stars to shine. right connection, for sure, takes one to the top(even if he/she is an average).in the lack of right connections, people who deserves are not honored, while those who are honored do not deserve.

Sustaining in this competitive world has really become a challenge. we cannot deny the fact that talents are dying without reaching in the right hands where they deserve to be.Contacts, connections, networking skills have become vital which over shadow ones ability and in turn the productivity as a whole. This is indeed a problem faced by many people, specially the present generation. Every student spend ages in developing the skills and attaining knowledge to be capable of doing something but lack of opportunities is wasting all the efforts. Hence, the trend should be changed and talents should be provided with optimum chances to show their abilities, thereby promoting in the development of nation as a whole.

Question

There are many really talented people among us, but because they do not know the 'right' people or do not have the 'right' contacts or do not have networking skills, they remain unknowns and their work dies with them. Do you think that in today's world it is one's connections that take one to the top even if you are an average? Or do you believe that genuine talent shines even without the so-called right connections?
