KATHMANDU: Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav has claimed that not any sort of consensus was forged among major parties on the dissolution of the incumbent Cabinet during the Wednesday’s big guns meet.
“The big oppositions –the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN-UML will join the present government,” said Yadav emerging from the meeting of ruling coalition partners—the UCPN-Maoist, the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) held at Baluwatar on Thursday.
“Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has pledged us that the oppositions will join the incumbent government and there is no need to dissolve the Cabinet,” further stated Yadav at a time when medias are disseminating that PM will hold parleys with top leaders of the major political parties today to finalize the agreement for the national unity government under his leadership by dissolving the present Cabinet.
PM Bhattarai, who is also the vice-chairman of the UCPN-Maoist, had formed the government last year with the support of UDMF.
