DAMODAR BHANDARI

NEPALGUNJ: Property worth millions was gutted when a massive fire engulfed more than 100 houses at Rataiyagaun of Kalaphant VDC in Banke today.

Police said that blaze had started from the cowshed of local Saiyad Khan at around 4 pm.

Head constable Ram Bahadur Thapa was injured while trying to save a baby. Thapa is receiving treatment at local medical centre.

DSP Uday Tamang said that police had taken the blaze under control with the support from local people. Details of the damage are yet to come, police said.
