Indian freeship for women

KATHMANDU: The India-based Rai Foundation has offered scholarship to two women on behalf of Management Association of Nepal (MAN) this year.

In a press statement, MAN said the scholarships are for Bachelors programmes on streams such as Bio-Technology, Electronics and Communication, Fashion Design, Hospitality and Hotel Management, Media and Communication and Masters in Business Administration.

The scholarship covers the full tuition fee of approximately Rs 80,000 per annum, but the students have to pay Rs 30,000 as on-campus boarding and lab fees. It said that the students can also stay off-campus.

All courses will be conducted on the 22- acre campus of NIILM University on Kaithal, Chandigarh, reads the statement.

It further said the foundation is now associated with NIILM university for the Gifted Girl and Girl Genius scholarship programme the August 2012 session.
