KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population and Chairman of the Nepal Sadbhavana Party, Rajendra Mahato, has claimed that this government will promulgate the new constitution. He also urged the Nepali Congress (NC), the CPN (UML) and other political parties to join the current government to give it a shape of national unity.

Speaking at a news conference organised here today, Minister Mahato said conspiracies were hatched to obstruct the constitution writing process and expressed his commitment that the United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) would support the Nepali Congress for the national consensus government after the promulgation of new constitution.

Minister Mahato informed journalists about the Fifth General Convention of the party that is going to begin on May 4 in Janakpur.
