LALITPUR: Abhilasha Bista and Bibhisha Shrestha advanced to the U-18 girls’ singles final of the Nepal Junior Open Lawn Tennis Championship here at the Satdobato Tennis Complex on Wednesday.

In semi-final matches, Bista saw off Prakriti Shrestha 6-0, 6-1, while Bibhisha Shrestha beat Sneha Yadav 6-2, 6-1. Likewise, Kaustuv Pandey beat Shreyash Agrawal and Aadit Subedi defeated Abhinay Acharya by identical scores of 6-0, 6-2 to advance the U-18 boys’ singles semi-finals. Also, Prashamsha Moktan defeated Aadhya Loha Paudyal 4-0, 5-4, while Sunira Thapa recorded a 4-0, 4-0 win against Nala Maskey to enter the U-9 girls’ category final.
