DANG: Nepal APF Club and Far-western Region advanced to the semi-finals of the NSC Men’s Football Championship after winning the opening day matches here on Tuesday.

At the Arniko Sports Ground in Tulsipur, APF defeated Mid-western Region 1-0. Amit Adhikari scored solitary goal in the 11th minute.

Similarly, Philip Tamang’s goal in the 87th minute was enough for Far-western to see off Central 1-0- at the Bharatpur Sports Ground in Ghorahi.

On Wednesday, Western will play against Nepal Police Club in Tulsipur, while Eastern will take on Tribhuvan Army Club in Ghorahi.
