LALITPUR: Defending champion Arhant Keshar Singh advanced to the fourth Civil Bank Open Squash Championship semi-finals along with Hira Bahadur Thapa, Amrit Thapa and Prabin Bir Singh Kansakar here on Thursday.

In the men’s singles matches played at the Squash Academy courts, Singh defeated Yam Rana 11-3, 11-5, 11-7 to set the last four date with Hira, who came from a set down to beat Jwarchan 5-11, 11-2, 11-4, 11-7. Likewise, Amrit outplayed Kumar Pun 11-6, 11-9, 11-9 and will face Kansakar, a 11-4, 11-4, 11-8 winner over Amir Blon.
