Lalitpur, November 17

Bal Shreejanalaya, Mahendra Memorial and Gajurmukhi School advanced to the semi-finals of the Coca-Cola Inter-school Boys Football Tournament here at the ANFA Complex grounds today.

Bal Shreejanalaya saw off Shree Chandra Jyoti Secondary School 3-0 in the final round tournament. Shree Chandra had won the match 7-0 but Bal Shreejanalaya were declared the winners after they were found guilty of violating tournament regulations.

Similarly, Mahendra Memorial played a 1-1 draw against Bal Geetanjali and advanced to the last four. Bharat Chaudhary scored a goal for Mahendra Memorial and Mikhayal Rai replied for Bal Gitanjali.

Likewise, Gajurmukhi held Orchid to a 1-1 draw to enter the semi-finals. Pawan GC scored a goal for  Gajurmukhi and Santosh Thapa netted the equaliser for Orchid.

A total of 13 teams are competing in the final round of the competition being played under league-cum-knockout format. The final match is slated for November 24.
