Tigers thrash Warriors

KATHMANDU: Bangladesh Tigers recorded a five-wicket victory over Dubai Warriors in the Asian Club Premier League here at the Tribhuvan University Stadium on Saturday.

Batting first, Warriors scored 152-5 in their allotted 20 overs before Tigers reached 155-5 with one ball to spare. Sanjog Binkar top scored for Tigers with 44-ball 64, while Quazi Zeesan Ahmad scored a quick fire 29-ball 42.

Warriors’ Satish Kumar took 3-19 and Vijay Yadav claimed 1-29.

Earlier, Dawood Ejaz’s 65 off 36 balls and Abdul Shakoor’s 20-ball 21 balls guided Warriors to a fighting total. Tigers’ Sanket Sahu claimed 3-32 and Vicky Chauhan took 1-18.
