BIRATNAGAR: The Birat Gold Cup Football Tournament is scheduled for March 31 to April 8 at the Sahid Stadium.

Birat Gold Cup Tournament Committee President NabinRijal said at least eight teams, including foreign clubs, will take part in the event.

Rijal also informed that the winners will get around Rs 1.25 million to Rs 1.3 million.

The organisers said they could not organise the event last year as the stadium was not prepared.

The estimated budget of the event is Rs 12 million.
