KATHMANDU: Jigmay Dongstetsang won the fourth edition of the Surya Nepal Gokarna Monthly Medal here at the Gokarna Golf Club on Saturday.

Playing with 12-handicap allowance, Dongstetsang carded three-under 69 nett.

Dhurba Thapa was runner-up on count back after he was tied at two-under 70 with Prabhakar Adhikari.

Vijay Shrestha Einhaus won the gross section title with the score of four-over 76, while Sam Doublard scored four-under 68 nett to bag the junior section trophy.

A total of 41 players took part in the tournament sponsored by Surya Nepal Pvt Ltd. Captain of Gokarna Golf Club Joseph Nathan gave away the prizes to the winners.
