KATHMANDU: Golden Gate International College defeated Tribhuvan Army Club 90-85 to end the departmental side’s 13-match winning streak in the Kwik’s Basketball League on Monday.

The result meant Golden Gate accumulated 30 points from 14 matches and finished second in the standing. Leaders TAC earned 39 points.

Similarly, Bishal Milan Kendra (27) and Himalayan Hounds (24) finished third and fourth respectively.

In the playoff matches, Golden Gate will take on BMK, while TAC will play against Hounds on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Kirtipur Basketball Team beat South Siders 47-45 in a meaningless match as both the teams were already out of the playoff race.
