Gorkhas, Gorillas set final date
NEPALGUNJ: NIC Asia Dangali Gorkhas and Pappu Construction Rolpa Gorillas advanced to the final of the Ashirbad Paints Nepalgunj Cup T20 Tournament here on Monday.
Dangali Gorkhas and Rolpa Gorillas won four matches each out of five league round matches and finished on top two respectively. On Monday, Dangali Gorkhas beat Palpa Yoddhas by seven wickets and topped the table on net run rate.
Batting first, Palpa Yoddhas scored 113-7 in 20 overs before Dangali Gorkhas made 114-3 in 14.4 overs.
Man-of-the-match Shadab Ansari scored an unbeaten 50 off 33 balls hitting five boundaries and three sixes.
Earlier, Prakash KC scored 30 runs for Palpa Yoddhas.
In another match, Arghakhanchi Cement Bardiya Tigers beat Abrol TMT Lumbini Yatris by five wickets.
