LALITPUR: The 25th edition of the SML Isuzu Gyan Carnival is beginning here at the Gyanodaya Bal Batika School in Khokana from Wednesday.

The Carnival features Inter-school football and basketball tournaments, informed the organisers. A total of 16 teams will take part in football tournament, while eight teams will vie for basketball title.

The carnival, which is sponsored by Gold Fish International Pvt Ltd, was first held in 1994 and it aims at spreading friendship and brotherhood among students, informed Gyanodaya Bal Batika Founder Principal Indira Yakthumba.
