ICC WCL C'ship: Nepal to play Netherlands on Aug 13, 15

KATHMANDU: The International Cricket Council on Tuesday scheduled the round-four matches between Nepal and the Netherlands under the ICC World Cricket League Championship for August 13 and 15 in Amstelveen.

Netherlands currently are at the top of the currently on top of the WCL points table with 10 points, having won four out of six matches.

They are followed by Hong Kong (9 points), Scotland (7), Kenya (6), Nepal (4), Papua New Guinea (4), Namibia (2) and United Arab Emirates (2).

Nepal had earned their precious 4 points by defeating Namibia in front of the vociferous crowd in their support at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Stadium in Kathmandu this month.

World Cricket League Championship fixtures:

13th and 15th August: Netherlands v Nepal, VRA, Amstelveen

14th and 16th August: Scotland v UAE, Mannofield, Aberdeen

22nd and 24th October: PNG v Namibia, Amini Park, Port Moresby

18th and 20th November: Kenya v Hong Kong, Kenya (tbc)
