LALITPUR: DAV College is organising the Valleywide Inter-college Futsal Tournament here from September 6-7.

A total of 25 teams are taking part in the event which will be played under league-cum-knockout format, informed the organisers in a press release on Monday.

The champions will receive Rs 100,000, while runners-up will earn Rs 50,000. Likewise, the best player of the tournament, highest scorer and goalkeeper will also get attractive prizes.

Academic Director of the college, Suman Basnet said the event would create an opportunity to the students and colleges as well to showcase their sporting talents.

Likewise, Dawa Lama All Nepal Football Association Member and National Futsal Committee Convenor said such events would help in producing talented players.
