DHANGADHI: Jyoti School and Aishwarya Vidya Niketan registered wins in the DCA Inter-school Cricket Tournament here at the Fapla grounds on Saturday.

Jyoti recorded a 61-run win against Alliance School, while Aishwarya saw off Stepping Stone by five wickets. Put into bat first, Jyoti scored 136-6 in their allotted 20 overs before packing Alliance for 76 runs in 19.3 overs. Ganesh Saud scored an unbeaten 49 runs for Jyoti, while Anil Shah was the top scorer for Alliance with 21 runs. Jyoti’s Saud also claimed three wickets.

In another match, Stepping Stone scored 102-7 riding on Abishek Kunwar’s 27 runs. In reply, Aishwarya raced to victory in 13.5 overs losing five wickets. Subash Khati scored 31 runs and Mahendra Suwar added 24 runs for Aishwarya.
